Fun in the sea……

When you stay with us at Ross Bay you are never far from the seaside, and lovely beaches.  Ours here is on the muddy side, but safe, and actually quiet……….if you head to the neighbouring sandy beaches of Brighouse Bay, the Dhoon Bay, Carrick, Sandgreen, or Mossyard equally beautiful views and fun can be had……children,

Wow……..look at that moon!

Look at that moon……it was amazing to watch the moon coming up behind the hill of Miekle Ross and it happened so fast.  Lovely evenings here in the summer, watching the tide ebb and flow with the birds singing, a little piece of paradise (but we may be bias!)

Making hay while the sun shines!

The old saying is right, “you can only make hay while the sun shines”, so thats what we have been doing here at Ross Farm. We have baled some lovely round bales ready for the winter feed for the calves, sheep and ponies – winter and lambing time preparation – who said farmers weren’t organised!

Frosty December.

We are having some lovely frosty weather down here at Ross Bay. Minus 3 being the lowest temperature which is usually a couple of degrees warmer than in the town.  Cold air and lovely walks are in abundance so lets enjoy it.
