David has a new toy, I have to say he is doing a good job of grass cutting and keeping everything tidy down here at Ross Bay Retreat…………Whilst he is keen to use it, let him, thats what I say!
Haymaking time has been completed for the 2017 winter feed. First cut silage is done and in the clamp, and we are awaiting the regrowth of our luscious green coastal grass for our second cut silage to make sure we have enough winter fodder for all the farm animals down here on Ross Farm.

All jobs have good and bad points, ours too. As we head off around the farm on the quadbike to check the stock it is sometimes great to just stop and take in the view……how lucky are we to have a view like this from on the top of Meikle Ross? No wonder the sheep
