At this time of year Kirkcudbright is looking beautiful in a different way.  The lights twinkle in the dark and the shops have their tinsel and trees on show.  The hussle and bussle of shoppers trotting around gathering Christmas gifts, rushing to the post office to send presents in time to reach their destination, with
