Autumn is approaching…….

Well down here at Ross, someone has switched the button to say the Summer sunshine and heat is off and the winds of Autumn are here…….its not cold though I have to say.  We have been sorting cattle here on the farm, the pedigree limousins should be in calf due to calve in Springtime.  We have brought the cattle down from on the Meikle Ross hill as some of those are due to calve in September so they are now on the calving field…….just a field closer to the farmyard so we can keep a close eye on them.  We have had the sheep into the pens also to have their vaccinations etc so all of them should be ready to meet the boys in October……….hoping for lambs in February.  We have to work so far in advance on the farm and be quite organised……….
