What a great way to spend a family fun day out at the Galloway Childrens festival in Kirkcudbright. There is lots to see and do including, music, storytelling, puppets, theatre, workshops, drumming, face painting, stalls, games, giant bouncy play area. 11am till 4pm. Its the 16th annual festival with a special guest best selling author
Just tootling along minding our own business, looking to see if the grass was ready to cut for silage, and I think we made the deer jump! There are several deer to be seen down here at Ross Bay in the different patches of woodland around the farm, living and hiding behind the gorse. There

Our family recently had a trip for a birthday surprise to Laggan Outdoor Activity Centre which is only a short drive from Ross Bay. We are also really pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted (top 3) in the Scottish Thistle Awards 2015/2016 – Best Holiday Accommodation category for the Central South West region, with the winner being announced at the Awards Dinner in Glasgow on the 4th November. How exciting a black tie awards dinner!
We have really enjoyed viewing the superb video and aerial photography taken for us using a drone. This photograph really captures the farmhouse, the cottages, and the farm buildings nestled together on the spectacular Ross Bay peninsular.
