Clipping time

Here we are at clipping time with all the ewes being clipped and their wool being rolled up, bagged and sold off to make those wooley jumpers for Christmas.  Bet they feel much cooler with their new hair cut!!

Old Billy bull

Here is our old stock bull – Billy.  He too is quiet and sensible to work with and enjoys roaming around the Ross farmland.  He produces us with some lovely quality calves.

Our new bull – steady Eddie!

The new addition to the Ross herd is steady Eddie, as we have called him.  He is really quiet and only young.  Hopefully he will work well and produce us some lovely young calves in the spring!

We have recently purchased a new bull which is a Belgian blue cross limousin to join our herd down here at Ross Farm.  He is 2 years old, rather good looking, very sensible, and hopefully he will be a good dad!!!
