We had a family day out to visit Threave Gardens at the weekend. It was a lovely experience with many beautiful plants, shrubs, and garden areas to explore, while the sun shone. A locally made ice cream was a must, as was a tour around the visitors shop, small plant centre and of course the
Why not explore all the local sandy beaches around Kirkcudbright (not our muddy Ross Bay)? There is Sandgreen, Carrick, Mossyard, Brighouse Bay, Dhoon Bay, and lots more. Our dogs certainly enjoy lying in the sunshine on the warm soft sand, would yours?
Here is our Hereford bull enjoying some springtime sunshine with his girls upon the hill. He can also keep a watchful eye on his offspring from last year as they skip about the pastures.
Well down here at Ross bay, our geese have hatched themselves some lovely goslings. They are extremely proud and guard them well in the paddock with our old pony Smokey. We are sure you will spot them during your Springtime stay here.
