The grass is going and the weather has turned. Woolly sheep, hairy cattle and lots of hard work on the farm at this time of the year! We always look forward to the Winter solstice, after the 21st December the days start getting longer again. We will be planning to scan the sheep in January so that they can be fed accordingly and lotted ready for lambing time in February and March – the rain will be sure to arrive by then!
