Christmas at Creel.

When the leaves have turned and the Winter Solstice has passed it begins to look a lot like Christmas down at Ross Bay………………….

Snowflakes on the French doors, tinsel around the stove, twinkling lights and glistening baubles decorate the Christmas tree with Santa overlooking…………..

Table dressed and set with Christmas cheer ready for turkey, roasties, honeyed parsnips, glazed carrots, stuffing and all the trimmings……..

Christmas puddings, crackers, mince pies, cheese with biscuits, grapes with port or Brudar, gifts, a glass of bubbly with wonderful sights to see with your nearest and dearest, need we dream of much more?

A brisk walk around the bay with the wind whistling through your hair, and the roaring of the sea across at Fauldbog bay with the sea fret flying aimlessly……….

Curl up and read a book or watch a movie with the orange flames in the woodburner catching your eye and encouraging you to nod off for a while…………………..

Have Christmas down at Ross Bay just as you like it, as busy or quiet, decorated or not but as special as you wish to make it, cos once memories are made they are there forever….……………………..
